This was my first Studio X Project. I used Phragmite stalks on a batik background
to honor all the fish who give their lives on a daily basis to fisherman on the new Longport Bridge fishing pier.
Pressed Fish

I painted a skeleton of a fish and pressed it into canvas, onwhich the slats
of a bench also were painted.
All Washed Up

Plastic, glass, metal. Diaper pins, clothes pins. Feathers, scales,
twigs, shells. The colorful itter under the bridge makes a collage to remind us not to litter.
